| 194 | A set of Kings pattern sterling silver flatware comprising 12 dinner forks, 12 luncheon forks, 12 dessert spoons, 12 tablespoons, 12 luncheon spoons; 60 pieces by Francis Higgins, London (specialist's spoonmaker) dates 1861-1867, 152 ozs. Plus 42 pieces by C.B. & S. Sheffield 1927 including 12 cake forks, 12 bouillon spoons, 12 berry forks and 6 demi-tasse spoons, 46 ozs. Plus an additional 10 teaspoons London 1897, 10 teaspoons Glasgow 1829, 6 Birks butter knives, 2 sauce ladles London 1897, pr. sugar tongs, mint ladle, 38 ozs.; together with 12 dinner knives, 12 luncheon knives London 1927 and a 2-piece carving set. Some rubbing of marks. Most pieces crested with a stag beneath a lion rampant flag. One dinner knife with broken blade. 158 pieces in total. 236 ozs. weighable silver. |
